چکیده

Abstract In seismic exploration, a precise description of the reflection property is critical for reservoir prediction and fluid identification. study wave transmission effects, taking into account both viscoelastic anisotropic properties medium compatible with features earth. Moreover, it advantageous to characterization complicated reservoirs. According elastic foundation imaginary component quality factor Q, media are described in complex domain. The number expressed by phase velocity Q. attenuation angle introduced when represented propagation vector an vector. exact polarization direction using stiffness matrix incorporating Q elements. quasi-Zoeppritz equation horizontal transverse isotropic (VHTI) derived boundary conditions based on function media. numerical simulation reflectivity reveals that coefficient clearly different from medium. difference various orientations has distinct characteristics.

Rational approximation for estimation of quality Q factor and phase velocity in linear, viscoelastic, isotropic media

The article presents a numerical inversion method for estimation of quality Q factor and phase velocity in linear, viscoelastic, isotropic media using reconstruction of relaxation spectrum from measured or computed complex velocity or modulus of the medium. Mathematically, the problem is formulated as an inverse problem for reconstruction of relaxation spectrum in the analytic Stieltjes represe...

A transverse isotropic viscoelastic constitutive model for aortic valve tissue

A new anisotropic viscoelastic model is developed for application to the aortic valve (AV). The directional dependency in the mechanical properties of the valve, arising from the predominantly circumferential alignment of collagen fibres, is accounted for in the form of transverse isotropy. The rate dependency of the valve's mechanical behaviour is considered to stem from the viscous (η) dissip...

Elastic wave mode separation for tilted transverse isotropic media

Seismic waves propagate through the earth as a superposition of different wave modes. Seismic imaging in areas characterized by complex geology requires techniques based on accurate reconstruction of the seismic wavefields. A crucial component of the methods in this category, collectively known as wave-equation migration, is the imaging condition that extracts information about the discontinuit...

Modelling the impulse diffraction field of shear waves in transverse isotropic viscoelastic medium.

The generation of shear waves from an ultrasound focused beam has been developed as a major concept for remote palpation using shear wave elastography (SWE). For muscular diagnostic applications, characteristics of the shear wave profile will strongly depend on characteristics of the transducer as well as the orientation of muscular fibers and the tissue viscoelastic properties. The numerical s...
